Andrew Yogan signed a contract with the New York Rangers today and he’s more than just a little likely to start next season in Hartford with the Whale. Yogan had just signed an Amateur Try-Out contract last week after completing his season with the Peterborough Petes of the OHL.

While he is yet to score in his three games, he did manage to get himself ousted from yesterday’s battle with the Sound Tigers with a five minute boarding major and a game misconduct.
Yogan is a big boy. He’s 6’3 and 203 pounds and really wants to make it to the next level. If his effort on the ice in the limited run is any indication, that could possibly happen.
Here’s the release from the Rangers.
